Thanksgiving parties are celebrated annually by most Americans. As the Christmas celebration nears, newspapers are filled with advertisements for the Black Friday. Black Friday refers to the day after Thanksgiving that marks the traditional sale deals for the holiday season. And from this tradition, the ‘Cyber Monday’ came to light. This term emerged in 2005 by a marketing team at Shop.org, a division of the National Retail Federation. From the long-range of online websites, it wasn’t at the top list at that time, but it had come a long way since then.
Unlike Black Friday, you don’t need to battle with a swarm of people in stores, because with online shopping, everything is just a click away! Advertisements in social media are posted by online retailers several days or weeks ahead making customers aware of when and what to shop.
